Job summary

Sub-Zero Group, Inc. in Madison, WI seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead quality initiatives across suppliers and production lines. You will develop and implement procedures, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement to support product quality and delivery.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree, experience with 6-Sigma, ERP, PLM, and strong leadership. You will supervise quality technicians and collaborate with cross-functional teams on audits, CAPA, and supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of quality processes and 6-Sigma methodologies.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procedures to promote continuous improvement of product quality.
• Collaborate with manufacturing sites and suppliers to drive quality improvements and CAPAs.
• Analyze information and present measures to stakeholders.
• Maintain PLM workflows to support new product development and existing product updates.
• Review supplier submissions including FMEA, Gage R&R, and control plans.
• Perform supplier qualification and surveillance audits with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in design and contract reviews for supplied components.
• Supervise quality technicians in receiving inspection or metrology labs.
• Manage projects related to quality systems and new product development.
