Job description

The hourly rate for this position is between $35.81 and $37.00.

Core Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for spearheading quality resolutions for urgent production and customer-facing issues, ensuring that systemic corrective actions are implemented to prevent future occurrences.

• Manage quality planning initiatives, primarily focusing on fluid conveyance systems, while also addressing hydraulics, metal fabrication, and fastener components.
• Oversee quality planning tasks that encompass current product lines, supplier change requests, cost-saving measures, and both temporary and permanent resourcing.
• Facilitate Design Process and Assembly Reviews (DPARs), alongside comprehensive print and design evaluations for both new and existing products.
• Utilize Six Sigma methodologies, statistical analysis, FMEA, and 8D processes to help ensure the team identifies potential quality failures in external parts and assemblies.
• Direct and mentor Supplier Quality Improvement Teams to drive better performance outcomes.

Professional Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a functional background in project management, specifically demonstrating the ability to lead, facilitate, and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.

• Demonstrate proficiency in standard quality management tools, including FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, Control Plans, Gage R&R, MSA, and Capability Studies.
• Exhibit the ability to interpret complex technical drawings, including a strong grasp of GD&T principles.
• Apply advanced data collection and statistical analysis techniques to support quality initiatives.
• Bring previous professional experience in either Supplier Quality Engineering or general Quality Engineering roles.
• Show a high degree of personal initiative and self-motivation to achieve project goals.

Pay Transparency and Benefits:

The standard base pay for this U.S.-based role is $35.81 - $37.00/hr. Non-exempt staff receive 1.5x overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 per week, subject to local regulations. Final compensation is based on your specific education, skills, and experience.
