Job summary

Global Connect Technologies is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer focused on casting and machining. The role requires deep experience with aluminum casting (HPDC/LPDC), sand casting, and machining of engineered components. You will lead supplier quality programs, audits, and corrective actions.

You will collaborate with NPD, support product launches and ramp-ups, and provide hands-on, shop-floor-level solutions while traveling domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing, operations, or quality engineering.

NOW HIRING: Senior Supplier Quality Engineer – Casting & Machining

• 7–10 years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing, operations, or quality engineering


• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field REQUIRED


• Strong experience with aluminum casting processes, including HPDC and LPDC


• Knowledge of sand casting and other casting processes


• Experience with machining of engineered components


• Strong experience with APQP, PPAP, CAPA, and supplier quality management


• Experience conducting supplier audits and driving corrective actions


• Strong root-cause analysis and structured problem-solving skills


• Experience supporting NPD, product launches, and production ramp-up


• Ability to provide hands-on, shop-floor-level solutions to suppliers


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills


• Willingness to travel frequently to supplier locations, including domestic and international travel
