Job summary

Vse Aviation Inc (US) is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead the development of quality strategy and programs in a leading global aerospace distributor. You will design quality standards, inspect materials, processes and products, and develop control systems to ensure compliance with safety policies and customer requirements.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, data analysis ability, and the capability to implement corrective actions across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 6-7 years of relevant/technical work experience or 3 additional years in lieu of degree.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data analysis aptitude.
• Proficiency with MS Office and scheduling tools; excellent verbal and written communication.

SUMMARY: As part of a leading global aerospace distributor, this position is responsible for the development of quality strategy and programs. Responsibilities include designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective actions. You will also work with managers and supervisors to implement quality measures. A successful Quality Engineer should have excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to ensure that processes and products consistently meet established quality standards.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Developing and implementing quality standardsDeveloping and implementing quality control systemsCreation of quality documentationMaintaining accurate quality documentationMonitoring and analyzing quality performanceInspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are metCollaborating with other department managers to develop and implement controls and improvementsEnsuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with company quality and safety policiesInvestigating and troubleshooting product or process issuesDeveloping corrective actions, solutions, and improvementsWorking closely with external partners, i.e. suppliers, customers, etc.Other duties assigned.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s Degree6-7 years of relevant/technical work experience ORAn additional 3 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and scheduling applicationsExcellent verbal and written communicationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsData analysis and statistical aptitudeExcellent project management skillsPREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:Master’s degree in quality, engineering8+ years of quality and compliance work experience3+ years of experience in the Aviation industryOTHER:The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
