Job summary

VSE Aviation is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive the development of quality strategy and programs across materials, processes, and products. The role includes designing standards, inspecting items, and implementing corrective actions to ensure adherence to quality and safety policies.

You will collaborate with managers to monitor quality performance, create documentation, and troubleshoot issues to uphold high standards throughout production and supplier interactions.

• Investigating and troubleshooting product or process issues
• Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements
• Working closely with external partners, i.e. suppliers, customers, etc.

SUMMARY: As part of a leading global aerospace distributor, this position is responsible for the development of quality strategy and programs. Responsibilities include designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective actions. You will also work with managers and supervisors to implement quality measures. A successful Quality Engineer should have excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to ensure that processes and products consistently meet established quality standards.
