SPX Technologies is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to own supplier performance, manage quality processes, and ensure supplier conformance to drawings and specifications. You will address quality issues, lead audits, and support new product development to improve overall supplier performance.
The role requires collaboration with engineering and purchasing to drive corrective actions, maintain metrics, and ensure timely containment of issues; travel up to 40% is possible.

This position is responsible for understanding, reacting and improving supplier performance. This includes (a) owning supplier performance, (b) managing, adjusting and creating the necessary processes that help understand and improve supplier performance, e.g., supplier manual, audits, scorecards, SCARs, etc… (c) assuring the products coming from suppliers meet the required drawing requirements and/or standards set during qualification, and (d) addressing supplier quality and performance problems, whether identified internally or by customers.

As required by law in this state, the estimated salary range for this position is $77,900-$114,700 and represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect. We tailor our offers within the range based on organizational needs, internal equity, market data, geographic zone, and the selected candidate’s experience, education, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. At SPX, it is not common for individuals to be hired at the higher end of the range, and compensation decisions depend on a variety of factors. This position is eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus, subject to the rules governing the plan.
