Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the resolution of open Third-Party Event (TPE) records related to supplier performance and material quality issues.
  • Act as the primary liaison with suppliers to gather investigation reports, secure CAPA commitments, and verify effectiveness checks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Quality Assurance Operations (QA Ops), and Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) to assess impact and drive closure of vendor deviations.
  • Support supplier qualification remediation efforts and promote improved documentation compliance from third-party vendors.
  • Maintain and regularly update a TPE tracker, highlighting overdue records, risk-based follow-ups, and supplier performance trends.
  • Contribute to broader vendor oversight programs, especially those tied to Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) readiness and regulatory audit response follow-ups.
  • Manage and review Third-Party Supplier Change Notifications (TPSCNs) and Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), ensuring appropriate change control processes are followed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-8 years of experience in Supplier Quality or related Quality Assurance role in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Proven experience working with Veeva Quality Management System.
  • Solid understanding of change control processes, CAPA, SCAR, TPSCNs, and supplier qualification practices.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Experience supporting regulatory inspections or audit readiness activities.
  • Familiarity with GMP, ICH Q10, and other applicable regulatory requirements related to vendor management and supplier quality.
