Job summary

Bosch is seeking a Purchasing Quality Assurance Engineer for its Norman, OK facility. You will ensure quality of purchased components and act as the primary quality interface between plant, Procurement and suppliers for serial production issues.

The role emphasizes supplier problem-solving, containment coordination, root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and continuous improvement of supplier performance. Travel to supplier sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (engineering related).
• Minimum 3 years in supplier quality or related manufacturing quality roles.
• Experience with 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier quality problem-solving for purchased components.
• Manage supplier corrective actions including 8D reports.
• Coordinate containment activities across supplier, plant, and third parties.
• Conduct discussions with suppliers on nonconforming components and risks.
• Support quality teams with failure analysis and investigations.
• Ensure clear failure descriptions and data communicates to suppliers.
