Job summary

Bosch is seeking a Quality Engineer to support Internal 8D processes, quality alerts, PPAP submissions, and MRB activities across SCU, Servo, and Sensor Unit lines. Regular collaboration with QMM, MFO, MFE, and production teams on all shifts is required, plus interaction with design and sales engineers in multiple locations.

The role emphasizes advanced problem-solving, knowledge of PFMEA, and GD&T, with a focus on ensuring robust quality systems and continuous improvement within a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Five years of related experience or training is required.
• Advanced problem-solving experience (8D) and PFMEA/Control Plans knowledge are highly desirable.
• Knowledge of process capability studies and gauge R&R for PPAP activities is desirable.
• Familiarity with corporate regulations and BOM requirements is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Internal 8D investigations and supporting cross-functional teams for SCU, Servo, and Sensor Unit lines.
• Support plant quality 8D activities with cross-functional teams.
• Provide primary support for PPAP submissions across plants.
• Assist with problem solving and containment for upstream and downstream deliveries.
• Support Concessions tasks including risk assessments and reviews.
