Job summary

The Boeing Company in Hazelwood, MO (Prop A-TG) seeks a Senior Supplier Program Management Specialist to lead supplier management activities on the Prop A-TG program. This 100% onsite, first-shift role requires a strong technical background and more than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services, across supplier management, supply chain and procurement.

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Supplier Program Management Specialist (Level 4) to join the Prop A-TG (Air Dominant Proprietary) team in Hazelwood or Berkley, Missouri.

This positing supports multiple open positions on Prop A-TG.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provides technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities
• Leads stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases
• Conducts and guides supplier assessments
• Develops current and projected work statement
• Leads and establishes the basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plans
• Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders
• Develops and executes work movement plans

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Technical Bachelor’s, Master’s or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study)
• More than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
• More than 5 years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
• More than 5 years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• More than 5 years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity
• More than 5 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience, 13 years’ related work experience, etc.)
