Job summary

Boeing in Hazelwood or Berkley, Missouri, is seeking a Senior Supplier Program Management Specialist (Level 5) to lead supplier and program management for Prop A-TG.

This 1st shift, 100% onsite role requires extensive experience in supplier management, procurement practices and technical requirements, with eligibility for U.S. Secret Clearance. Travel up to 25% may be required; relocation not provided.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in a technical field (math, science, IT).
  • 5+ years managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products/services.
  • 5+ years with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, or Procurement practices.
  • 5+ years creating, interpreting or enforcing technical requirements.

  • Provides technical and business guidance to critical suppliers and programs.
  • Leads strategic supply chain activities to manage work with suppliers and program.
  • Manages all aspects of supplier and stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Supplier Program Management Specialist (Level 5) to join the Prop A-TG (Air Dominance Proprietary) team in Hazelwood or Berkley, Missouri. This positing supports multiple open positions on Prop A-TG.

Position Responsibilities
  • Provides technical and business guidance to critical suppliers and programs
  • Leads strategic supply chain activities to manage work with suppliers and program
  • Manages all aspects of supplier and stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases
  • Leads supplier assessments and the development of recovery plans, corrective and preventative actions
  • Leads the development of company or business unit procurement strategies
  • Provides oversight, guidance and verification of work movement projects
  • Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders
  • Manages work movement plans

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study)
  • More than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
  • More than 5 years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
  • More than 5 years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • More than 5 years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity
  • More than 5 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management
Typical Education/Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.
