Job summary

Patrick Industries is seeking a Supplier Development professional to improve supplier performance and support activities from new product launches to audits and continual improvement.

You will collaborate with Operations, Quality Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, and New Product Development to raise PPAP approvals, reduce scrap, and optimize supplier capabilities. A strong quality background and Lean Six Sigma experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• Strong manufacturing, process, quality systems and root cause analysis experience required.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
• Experience with AIAG tools and PPAP/APQP is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier development and onboarding, training, tracking, and supplier performance.
• Act as the primary quality assurance resource for the supply base.
• Drive corrective actions, audits, and continual improvement with suppliers.
• Support supplier inspection, testing, and adherence to standards.
• Monitor supplier metrics (scrap dollars, OTD, credit recovery, responsiveness) and manage supplier approvals.
• Travel up to 35% to supplier locations and support kaizen events.
