Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer to onboard and qualify non-metallic cowling component suppliers. You will drive process excellence, develop tooling readiness, and oversee APQP/PPAP for launches and transfers.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, and Quality to ensure robust process controls, PFMEA, and capability studies, with travel up to 40% for site assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 3–5 years in supplier quality, development, or manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of non-metallic manufacturing processes.
• Strong APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and Control Plans understanding.
• Familiarity with DOE, SPC, GD&T, and mold flow analysis.
• Proven problem-solving skills (8D, A3, 5-Why).
• Ability to interpret complex drawings and specs.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new suppliers for non-metallic cowling components.
• Conduct supplier capability assessments, audits, and feasibility reviews.
• Develop and implement supplier improvement plans to meet targets.
• Oversee tooling transfers and validate installation at new sites.
• Lead APQP phases for new launches and transfers.
• Review PPAP submissions and capability studies.
• Ensure compliance with standards for non-metallic components.
• Drive lean improvements and monitor supplier performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, and Quality teams.
