Job summary

Intellectt Inc seeks a Supplier Development Engineer to develop, qualify, and improve supplier capabilities for non-metallic cowling assemblies. The role emphasizes APQP/PPAP, PFMEA, and process improvement across supplier ecosystems.

You will lead capability assessments, drive tool transfers, and support new product launches, collaborating with Engineering, Purchasing, and Quality teams to ensure design-for-manufacturing and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience with APQP/PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans is preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T and process quality tools is essential.

Responsibilities

• Qualify new suppliers through capability assessments, audits, and feasibility reviews.
• Manage supplier improvement plans for quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Support tooling transfers, process readiness, and supplier launch activities.
• Lead APQP and review PPAP submissions, capability studies, and certifications.
• Develop and review PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.
• Drive Lean Six Sigma, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor supplier performance using PPM, OTD, and process capability metrics.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, and suppliers on design and manufacturability.
