Seeks to continuously improve the performance of key supplier quality system components by developing standard business processes and robust quality assurance plans. Tracks data, identifies improvement projects, and manages cross-functional implementations to enhance performance of key components and suppliers.
Primary locations: Milwaukee, WI; Mayville, WI; or Byron Center, MI.
Responsibilities
- Implement quality system procedures and recommend improvements; interact with team members to achieve daily and long-term goals; ensure procedures are followed.
- Develop quality initiatives to attain and maintain customer satisfaction and focus.
- Support suppliers on quality activities.
- Provide technical expertise to the purchasing function.
- Serve as liaison between the supplier and MEC in quality activities, including presenting quality trend data, working on corrective actions, and verifying effectiveness.
- Participate in supplier development activities, implement corrective actions, and improve control plans.
- Analyze finished product and consumer complaint data; recommend corrective and preventative actions; follow up on process improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Understanding of supply chain and purchasing requirements.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and reporting accuracy.
- Skills in process improvement applications.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience Requirements
- At least three years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience in manufacturing preferred.
