Seeks to continuously improve the performance of key supplier quality system components by developing standard business processes and robust quality assurance plans. Tracks data, identifies improvement projects, and manages cross-functional implementations to enhance performance of key components and suppliers.

Primary locations: Milwaukee, WI; Mayville, WI; or Byron Center, MI.

Responsibilities

• Implement quality system procedures and recommend improvements; interact with team members to achieve daily and long-term goals; ensure procedures are followed.
• Develop quality initiatives to attain and maintain customer satisfaction and focus.
• Support suppliers on quality activities.
• Provide technical expertise to the purchasing function.
• Serve as liaison between the supplier and MEC in quality activities, including presenting quality trend data, working on corrective actions, and verifying effectiveness.
• Participate in supplier development activities, implement corrective actions, and improve control plans.
• Analyze finished product and consumer complaint data; recommend corrective and preventative actions; follow up on process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
