Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking a Supplier Support Engineer to resolve issues between the shop floor and suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery and quality.

You will collaborate daily with internal teams and suppliers, provide delivery commits, and review supplier trackers to align with production needs. Responsibilities include correcting paperwork, mitigating delays in part flow, coordinating releases to grinding suppliers, and maintaining alignment with production schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating with suppliers and production teams.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP.
• Ability to review supplier commitments and align with production needs.
• Limited travel (≤10%).

Responsibilities

• Daily collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
• Provide delivery commits.
• Provide daily follow-up with suppliers to maintain alignment on production needs and resolve discrepancies.
• Review supplier commit trackers to ensure commitments align with production needs.
• Coordinate direct truck shipments as needed to maintain delivery schedules.
• Work with buyer and suppliers to correct paperwork and mitigate delays in part flow through receiving.
• Coordinate release of castings to grind suppliers to avoid gaps in delivery flow.
• Experience with MS Excel.
• Experience with SAP.
• Less than 10% travel may be required to vendor locations.
