Job summary

Legacy Health in Portland, OR, invites applications for a general orthopedic surgeon. You will deliver compassionate, evidence-based care and work within a team dedicated to improving outcomes and quality of life for patients.

The ideal candidate has completed an MD/DO, ACGME orthopedic residency, perhaps a subspecialty fellowship, and holds or is eligible for state medical licensure.

Qualifications

• Fellowship in subspecialty area is preferred but not required.

This position is for a general Orthopedic surgeon.

Education

• Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent.
• Completion of ACGME accredited residency in orthopedic surgery.
• Fellowship in subspecialty area of orthopedic surgery preferred.

License And Certifications

• Medical License for the applicable state.
• Membership on LPH Medical Staff.
• Board Eligible/Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
• CPR certification.
• BLS from the American Heart Association

Experience

• Two to three years’ experience in the management of orthopedic patients preferred.
