Harris Health is seeking a food service associate to read patient meal selections from tickets and place proper serving portions on plates within the hospital setting. The role may involve delivering meals to patient rooms and working in the dish room.

Responsibilities include preparing sandwiches, pre-portion salads, desserts and nourishments, with a schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and overtime. A High School Diploma or GED and Food Handlers Certification are required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: High School Diploma or GED or one (1) year food service / hospitality service experience.


• License & Certifications: Food Handlers Certification


• Equipment Operated:Coffee Maker, Plate Warmer


• Work Schedule: Weekends, Holidays, Flexible, Overtime


• Other Requirements: Must be able to read and follow written directions.
