The Office of the Secretary of the Interior seeks a GS-14 security professional to lead SCI program oversight and policy implementation within the Office of Law Enforcement and Security (OLES).
Responsibilities include managing SCIF operations, SCI indoctrination, eligibility reviews, and compliance with ICD/EO policies, with emphasis on safeguarding national security information.
The OLES is responsible for establishing Departmental policy and providing leadership and guidance in support of all Departmental and Bureau law enforcement, security, personnel vetting, drug testing, intelligence, counterintelligence, and law enforcement technology programs.
All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement - 09/09/2026-unless otherwise stated in this vacancy announcement. Competitive candidates must also meet Time-in-Grade requirements as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. To qualify for this position at the GS-14 grade level: Experience: To qualify, you must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors).
