Job summary

The GSA, Office of Mission Assurance is seeking a Supervisory Security Specialist to serve as Branch Chief for the Physical Security Branch. The position oversees administration of Physical Security Standards across multiple locations, including Fort Worth, TX and other sites.

This senior role requires coordinating security and emergency management programs, developing policies, and ensuring personnel and information security for the organization.

Qualifications

• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-13 level in Federal service.
• Experience managing and/or coordinating a security and emergency management program.
• Experience developing and implementing program policies, policy interpretation, and critical operations planning for personnel and information security.

Job description

As a Supervisory Security Specialist, you will serve as the Branch Chief for the Physical Security Branch that performs work pertaining to the administration of Physical Security Standards. Location of position: Fort Worth, TX, Lakewood, CO, Kansas City, MO, Tacoma, WA, Raleigh, NC & Washington, D.C. We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

The GS-14 salary range starts at $127,829 per year.

To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience managing and/or coordinating a security and emergency management program. This experience must have involved the development and implementation of program policies and concepts, policy interpretation, and critical operations planning for the personnel and information security of an organization.
