Air Force District of Washington is seeking a first-level supervisor to lead the Wing Information Protection Office, directing planning and control over security programs and personnel. The role includes representing the IP Office across installation programs and administrating security initiatives on behalf of the Wing Commander.

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Wing Information Protection Office.
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Information Protection office; Personnel Security, Information Security, Industrial security and Counter Insider Threat programs ensuring that administrative collateral security programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets serviced populations needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
Represents the IP Office with a variety of installation and functional area program aspects; Information Security, Personnel Security, Industrial Security and Counter Insider Threat. Technical expert responsible to administer the WG Information Protection Security Program on behalf of the Wing Commander.
This position is with Air Force District of Washington, Department of the Air Force.
The posted pay range is $121785 – $158322/yr.
This position is eligible for telework.
This position requires a Secret security clearance.
