Job summary

U.S. Army MWR at Fort Benning is seeking a Recreation Assistant Supervisor for the Auto Skills facility on Fort Moore. You will supervise a team, plan schedules, and ensure performance standards while supporting a range of automotive activities and recreational programs.

The role requires knowledge of automotive parts and tools, plus hands-on experience with POS systems and reporting mechanisms such as RECTRAC and DARs. Candidates should be prepared for shift work including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Resumes must be two pages (or less).
  • Experience supervising a minimum of 5 employees.
  • 2 years of experience working in an automotive shop.
  • 2 years of experience working with NAF MWR programs and activities.
  • Knowledge of automotive parts, repairs, and tools.
  • Experience preparing program briefs, situation reports, and other presentations.
  • POS experience such as RECTRAC, and related reports (DARs, sales reports).

A Qualified Candidate Must Possess The Following

  • Work experience or education directly related to the duties to be performed.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":

  • Supervision of minimum of 5 employees.
  • 2 years of experience working in an automotive shop.
  • 2 years of experience working with NAF MWR programs and activities.
  • Knowledge of automotive parts, repairs, and tools.
  • Experience preparing program briefs, situation reports, and other presentations.
  • Point of Sale (POS) experience such as RECTRAC, reports such as Daily Activity Reports (DAR's), Financial sales reports and usage and participation reporting.

PCS Costs

  • Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.

Allowances and Differentials

  • This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
  • Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
