The U.S. Agency for Global Media is seeking a Supervisory Personnel Security Specialist in the Office of Security, reporting directly to the Director of Security. The role oversees the agency's personnel security vetting program, ensuring all employees and contractors are vetted according to applicable policies.
Responsibilities include leading security projects, guiding adjudications, coordinating staff, and continuously improving the program through measurement and evaluation.
This position serves as a Supervisory Personnel Security Specialist, in the Office of Security, reporting directly to the Director of Security. The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the agency personnel security vetting program and exercising the authority to ensure that all agency personnel, including FTEs and contractors, are vetted according to the security regulations prescribed by Executive Orders other external orders, regulations and policies.
Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility comparable to the GS-13 or comparable pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
