Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) seeks a Supervisory Life Scientist, Supervisory Environmental Engineer, or Supervisory Physical Scientist within the Compliance and Quality Department of Fleet Readiness Center Southwest. You will lead data collection, analyses, and regulatory compliance efforts to improve environmental performance.

Responsabilidades

• Establish methods, techniques, and parameters of data collection, direct employees to collect and organize data, conduct analyses and formulate conclusions relative to environmental regulatory compliance.
• Assess the abilities of department personnel to meet current, future and contingency requirements and develop plans and programs to enhance capabilities while performing within budget.
• Represent the division in matters relating to the development of new or innovative methods and processes to improve environmental compliance, increase pollution prevention and conserve energy resources.
• Communicate the compliance forecast for regulatory issues and their potential impact to the industrial operations of an industrial aerospace repair facility with management representatives, Installations and Logistics, and Supply.
• Ensure adequate funding is available for waste disposal, equipment purchases and replacements, consumable items, contract support, contract services, salaries, training and travel.
• Manage the contractor service contracts, procurement review, contract administration, and all funds allocated to and expended by the Environmental Division.

Position Description

You will serve as either a SUPERVISORY LIFE SCIENTIST, SUPERVISORY ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER, or SUPERVISORY PHYSICAL SCIENTIST in the COMPLIANCE AND QUALITY DEPARTMENT of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
