Job summary

U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command is seeking a seasoned supervisor to lead a full spectrum HUMINT Operations Group detachment.

You will oversee field collection operations, coordinate planned activities, and ensure efficient use of resources to support ongoing missions. Responsibilities include developing collection plans, briefing senior leaders, and conducting in-depth research and analysis of operating environments, security factors, and political dynamics to inform decision‑making.

• Serves as a first-line Supervisory and or Chief of Operations of an Army Operations Group (AOG) full spectrum HUMINT Regional/Functional Collection Detachment/Division.
• Functions as the supervisor with thorough knowledge of HUMINT collection operations.
• Coordinates on planned/proposed collection activities in order to assess benefits and accommodate effects on current operations, resources, and manpower.
• Responsible for planning, coordinating and executing intelligence collection assignments using the best methodology for individual cases.
• Initiates, monitors, and actively participates in the preparation of research and analysis including surveys of the operational environment, full spectrum HUMINT collection potential in the target areas, security, and political factors.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
• Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented information (SCI) security clearance.
• Must sign and comply with the provisions of a mobility (rotation) agreement. Mobility may include unaccompanied tours.
• Temporary duty (TDY) will be required 40% of the time and may be subject to extended TOY.
• All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended temporary duty (TDY) or worldwide deployment during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
• Must successfully complete all required certification courses and training for the discipline, position, and grade as directed by the CG, INSCOM, the MICECP Program Manager or otherwise established in the program manager guide.
• In accordance with the MICECP Career guide, must successfully complete an MS0 1 certification course

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting full-spectrum HUMINT (Human Intelligence) operations to fulfill intelligence requirements; develop collection plans to support complex intelligence gathering missions; and prepare intelligence reports to brief senior leadership. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13)

Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
