Secretary of the Navy Offices (SECNAV) is seeking a Deputy Assistant Director for the NCIS Directorate of Intelligence and Information Sharing in Quantico, VA. Qualifications

  • Requires at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent in private/public sector.

Responsibilities

  • Provide intelligence expertise and support to criminal, cyber, counterintelligence (CI), or counterterrorism (CT) investigations and operations.
  • Oversee intelligence professionals to ensure relevance, timeliness, and accuracy of analytic products and outcomes.
  • Develop and mentor a workforce, including current and future supervisors.
  • Translate mission priorities into actionable analytic tasks for assigned employees and set program objectives with milestones.
  • Communicate and coordinate across multiple platforms to ensure consistent messaging and outcomes across units and partners.
  • Deliver accurate, professional, and comprehensive briefings to senior leadership.
  • Build and maintain collaborative liaison relationships with internal and external partners.

Job description

You will serve as the Deputy Assistant Director for NCIS Directorate of Intelligence and Information Sharing.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing intelligence expertise and support to criminal, cyber, counterintelligence (CI), or counter terrorism (CT) investigations and operations. Experience overseeing intelligence professionals to ensure relevance, timeliness, and accuracy of analytic products and outcomes. Experience developing and mentoring a workforce, including current and future supervisors. Experience executing organizational strategic guidance by setting program objectives, establishing milestones, and translating mission priorities into actionable analytic tasks for assigned employees. Experience communicating and coordinating across multiple platforms to ensure consistent messaging and outcomes affecting multiple units and organizations. Experience providing accurate, professional and comprehensive briefings to senior leadership. Experience building and maintaining collaborative liaison relationships with internal and external partners. ICTAP does not apply to Excepted Service positions.
