Applicants must meet the basic qualification requirements for the Information Technology Management Series, 2210, as prescribed by OPM. Qualification is based on demonstrating the required proficiency levels in the OPM-established 2210 competencies. For the GS-15, the required competencies are: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Decision Making, Information Management, Interpersonal Skills, Oral Communication, Problem Solving, Teamwork and Technical Competence.
To qualify at the GS-15 level, you must possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as:
