U.S. Fleet Forces Command in Fort Meade, MD seeks a supervisor for the Requirements Office within U.S. Fleet Cyber Command to lead procurement initiatives and oversee intelligence-related contracts.
You will coordinate complex acquisition efforts and guide program officials on objectives and strategies. The role requires expert federal procurement knowledge, strong supervisory skills, and the ability to align actions with mission priorities across the Intelligence Community.
You will serve as the supervisor for the Requirements Office within U.S. Fleet Cyber Command.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service, or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees.
NOTE: The education requirement listed above applies only to individuals entering DoD GS-1102 positions on or after October 1, 2000. Current civilian personnel in DoD who occupied GS-1102 positions or contracting positions with authority to award or administer contracts above the simplified acquisition threshold in an Executive Department on or before September 30, 2000 are exempt from meeting this requirement. Current military members who occupied a similar occupational specialty to the GS (or equivalent) 1102 or before September 30, 2000 are also exempt from meeting this requirement.

This position has been designated as a Defense Acquisition Workforce position and the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification is identified above. Incumbent must obtain and maintain certification in accordance with DoD Instruction 5000.66. Acquisition Workforce (AWF) members must complete 80 hours of Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) every two (2) years, in accordance with DoDI 5000.66. Commencing from the time the member enters an AWF position throughout his or her continuous tenure in the AWF. Obtaining certification within the allotted grace period and maintaining CLPs before and after achieving certification are conditions of employment. Failure to meet these requirements could result in disciplinary action and/or removal from employment.
This position is subject to an initial drug screening, and random testing thereafter. A negative drug test result must be received by HR within 30 calendar days after the EOD (i.e., start date). The selectee's inability to successfully pass; or refusal to conduct the test may result in: 1) the tentative or final job offer being withdrawn during the recruitment process; or 2) subsequently being removed from Federal service for failure to meet a condition of employment.
