SUPERVISORY AIRFIELD MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

• Hiring Agency: Headquarters, Air Force Reserve Command

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Airfield Management function.

Key Responsibilities

Plans, organizes, and directs, and controls airfield activities in support of flying missions, ensuring that airfield management services provided complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represents Airfield Management/Base Operations with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

Executes the airfield portion of the Bird, Aircraft Strike Hazard (BASH) and Foreign Object Damage (FOD) programs.
