Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Dining Supervisor for Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. This full-time role supports front-of-house operations and leads a small team to ensure smooth service from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday.

The ideal candidate has prior culinary/foodservice experience, excellent customer service, and strong communication and leadership skills. You will follow procedures, handle cash, and ensure safety and compliance on site, while benefiting from immense

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Dining Supervisor at Wofford College.

This is a full-time position in Spartanburg, SC. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee front end production
• Follow opening procedures, including opening and handling cash drawers
• Comply with all policies and procedures, including but not limited to food and physical safety programs
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. customer issues, cleanliness, safety concerns or security concerns)
• Follow all safety requirements at accounts
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards
• Perform any other duties as specified by management

Requirements:

• Previous culinary/foodservice experience required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Successful team leadership experience
• Moving, bending, stooping, lifting and standing on a frequent basis
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds frequently; lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is necessary
