Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Receiver for a full-time role at Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. You will assist in unloading deliveries, check quality, store items, and help team members locate ingredients to keep storage areas stocked.

Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 pounds are required; you should work well independently or in a team. AVI offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits including health and 401(k), and ample opportunities for training and growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading delivered supplies/items, checking the quality of goods and ensuring the expected items and their amounts are received
• Properly store delivered items/supplies away
• Help other team members locate and grab ingredients/supplies as necessary
• Ensure that all kitchen/storage areas are kept clean, neat and well stocked
• Assist with utility tasks on sales floor and kitchen
• Assist the Production Manager with ordering and inventory
• Transport product and people to locations within the site
