SUMMARY: The Wastewater Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the wastewater treatment facility. This will include the training and supervision of staff, maintenance of facility, housekeeping, safety and regulatory compliance of the building, grounds, and treatment facility. The Wastewater Supervisor will gather and submit samples in compliance with Environment Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. This position will ensure documentation is in place and up to date per George’s policy and local, state and federal agencies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Provide oversight of wastewater function in the plant.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will have supervisory responsibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Required
  • 1-2 years of experience in wastewater operations in progressively responsible positions OR Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • The ability to demonstrate proper working knowledge of biological wastewater treatment systems
  • Basic computer knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Preferred
  • Poultry production or manufacturing experience
  • Vocational/Technical Certification and/or Licensure
  • Previous Leadership or supervisory experience
