Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate a small team in Reedley, CA for timely and cost-effective management of warehouse stores. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and shipping materials to ensure adherence to specifications and safety policies.

You’ll lead a team, plan resources, and maintain quality while achieving production and financial objectives; a strong emphasis on safety and OSHA compliance is required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years’ distribution experience warehouse experience.
  • One year of distribution center supervisory experience or equivalent experience.
  • Willing to travel.
  • A valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
  • BS in Business Administration or equivalent experience (preferred).
  • Two years of distribution center supervisory experience or equivalent experience (preferred).
  • WMS and RF Equipment experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Review receipt of all materials to ensure purchase orders are open and the quality of materials received is correct.
  • Ensure the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control.
  • Coordinate the timely and cost effective delivery of fabricated devices.
  • Plan and coordinate available resources to achieve quality, production and financial objectives.
  • Organize daily work flow to produce highest productivity possible within the department while maintaining product quality.
  • Responsible for scheduling and expediting all work through the department.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop department personnel.
  • Build good communications between the warehouse department and its customers, branches, Central Purchasing and all departments within Hanger.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and promote safety awareness among employees.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other governmental rules and regulations.
  • Create and distribute all department reports and summaries.
  • Assist the Supply Chain management with all personnel issues.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures; develop company spirit and teamwork within the department.

Minimum Qualifications

Pay range of $30.29 - $36.06/hour + bonus+ benefits. This pay range is posted to comply with State Law. Hanger salary ranges vary based on skill, ability, knowledge, geographic location and other variables.
