Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking an experienced IT specialist to supervise a small User Support team and guide problem resolution for desktop users. This role leads technical staff, oversees onboarding and evaluations, and stays current with technology upgrades to improve configurations and service delivery.

Candidates should have an associate degree (or equivalent) and at least five years of related experience. The position is office-based in Saint Louis, MO.

Position Summary

Position is a technical-based hands-on worker who supervises and coordinates activities of workers who provide problem-solving support to computer users; works with team to set priorities and open issues and has input into the optimum configuration of desktop hardware, applications, and printers; makes recommendations and implements process improvements; supervises small work groups (approximately 2 to 6 technicians).

Salary Range

$58,400.00 - $99,700.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
