Job summary

Team Fishel in Hampton, VA seeks a Supervisor for underground construction projects. You will oversee crews, ensure safety, quality, and profitability, and coordinate with customers and subcontractors to meet schedules.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accuracy of timesheets and expense reports
• Develops work-around procedures for maintaining crew productivity during delays caused by other trades, customer, lack of materials, absenteeism, etc.
• Monitors Quality Assurance and ensures installations meet customer specification and industry standards
• Ensures safety practices are observed by all crews during their work
• Reports, coordinates and supervises all aspects of a project
• May work independently performing site surveys for estimates, proposal preparation, or quality assurance

Description

Team Fishel , the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring a Supervisor for underground construction projects in the Hampton, VA area.

The Supervisor will be responsible for the safety, quality, and profitability of all the jobs in their area. They will be expected to schedule crews to meet the customer's schedule and work with subcontractors as needed to handle workflow.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accuracy of timesheets and expense reports

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A License highly preferred
• A minimum of 3 years experience supervising underground construction projects
• Must have previous experience working from blueprints, and specifications
• Limited travel required
• Bilingual English/Spanish experience is a plus

Starting pay for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 / annual dependent upon applicable experience and certifications.
