Job summary

Mammoth Mountain is seeking an Operations Manager for Woolly’s Adventure Summit in Mammoth Lakes, CA. You will oversee the daily outdoor operations of the tubing park and mountain coaster, including lift operations, staffing, grooming, and equipment maintenance.

Lead a dedicated team to ensure a safe, efficient, and memorable guest experience, stepping in when the Operations Manager is unavailable to maintain service and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Outdoor activities experience preferred.
• Proven supervisory or team lead experience.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong customer service orientation.
• Proven leadership experience in managing employees and fostering teamwork.
• Ability to resolve guest concerns and maintain a positive atmosphere.
• Comfortable handling large groups in a friendly and organized manner.
• Strong background in maintenance and proficient use of power tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for guests and staff.
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations for tubing and mountain coaster.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Physical capability to lift, shovel snow, and work in varying weather conditions.
• Familiarity with snow removal equipment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

When the Operations Manager is unavailable, you will take charge of all operational aspects, making quick decisions to maintain the highest standards of service and safety.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Outdoor activities experience preferred
• Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role

• Proven leadership experience in managing employees and fostering teamwork

Hourly pay rate: $22.77 to $24.58
