Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Irvine, CA is seeking a Transportation Supervisor responsible for setting goals and achieving department targets, ensuring on-time deliveries and accurate invoices while managing the transportation function and safety compliance.

Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Minimum High School with some college preferred.

Experience

• 2-3 years’ experience in driving and Supervisory experience.

Professional Skills

• Good communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Commercial Vehicle Drivers must have the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
• Knowledge of DOT requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent people skills.
