Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Edison, NJ seeks a Transportation Supervisor responsible for setting goals, ensuring on-time deliveries and accurate invoicing, and managing the transportation department.

You will coordinate deliveries, schedule drivers, train staff, oversee safety paperwork, and monitor driver performance, routing, and compliance with DOT rules.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum High School with some college preferred.
• Experience: 2-3 years’ driving experience; supervisory experience a plus.
• Professional skills: Good communication, DOT knowledge, problem-solving, and people skills.

• Excellent people skills.
