Summary

Supervises a therapy services department; develops and implements policies, procedures, services, and programs aligned with the healthcare facility's vision and strategic plan.

Job Description
  • Supervises and expands rehabilitation teams and programs for efficient operations.
  • Participates in measuring and improving rehabilitation services for quality patient outcomes.
  • Contributes to budget planning and strategic initiatives.
  • Provides daily guidance to teams, ensuring adherence to care plans and delivering specialized therapy.
  • Uses current research and clinical guidelines in treatment.
Qualifications
  • Appropriate education level per state licensure.
  • Two years of experience in therapy and rehabilitation.
  • Current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 60 days of employment.
