We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Underground Telecom Supervisor to lead daily shift operations, manage underground crews, and uphold strict safety and environmental standards. In this role, you will be responsible for balancing production targets with crew safety, coordinating equipment usage, and ensuring all underground activities align with mine plans and regulatory guidelines.
Crew Leadership & Supervision: Manage, schedule, and direct daily underground operations; oversee shift crew performance, accountability, and safety compliance.
Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Enforce company safety policies and regulatory standards (e.g., MSHA/OSHA); conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and shift toolbox talks.
Operational Planning: Interpret mine plans, ground control requirements, and technical drawings to execute daily shift objectives.
Production & Downtime Management: Monitor shift progress toward production goals, address equipment downtime or operational bottlenecks, and coordinate with maintenance teams.
Conflict Resolution & Team Building: Promote a positive, safe work environment by addressing workplace issues promptly and maintaining team cohesion.
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in underground operations (mining, tunneling, or underground construction), with prior experience managing or supervising crews.
Certifications: Relevant state or federal supervisor/mine safety certifications (e.g., Underground Mine Foreman Certification) and up-to-date safety training.
Technical Skills: Strong ability to read mine plans, technical drawings, and ground control documentation; hands‑on familiarity with underground equipment and systems.
Leadership: Proven ability to manage crew accountability, maintain safety under pressure, and resolve conflicts effectively.
Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and extended schedules as required.
