Ryder System in Newnan, Georgia is hiring a permanent full-time Warehouse Team Lead. The role requires leading daily warehouse activities, operating forklifts and RF scanners, and managing a Sunday-Thursday schedule. Expect weekly pay, on-the-job training, and comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

Responsibilities include coordinating tasks, improving safety and KPI outcomes, and ensuring accurate paperwork while maintaining team performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• One year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• One year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred.
• One year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) preferred.
• One year or more warehouse experience preferred.
• RF scanner experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and improve warehouse operations for efficiency.
• Perform warehousing tasks: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Allocate daily work and distribute tasks to team members to optimize shift operations.
• Inspire team members to improve KPI performance using effective leadership styles.
• Provide orientation and tools to staff to perform their roles successfully.
• Promote health and safety practices within the warehouse.
• Handle daily paperwork and submit routine reports.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $22.50 per hour
• Additional Pay: Premium: $1.00 for working Sunday
• Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 5:30 am - 2:00 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred
• One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required
• Valid forklift operator's license certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective leadership skills
• Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
• Inspire and guide team members towards improved Key Performance Indicator (KPI’s) using the appropriate leadership styles and methods.
• Assist in proving appropriate orientation for employees and give them the necessary information, technology and tools to perform their jobs.
• Assist with promoting health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
• Deal with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
