Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead in Greencastle, PA. You will oversee daily warehouse operations, lead a small team, and ensure safe, efficient processing of goods, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.

The role requires forklift operation experience and strong communication skills. The position offers weekly pay, training support, and competitive benefits beginning after 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• 1+ year experience as Team Lead preferred.
• 1+ year Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse experience preferred.
• RF scanner experience required.
• Valid forklift operator's license.

Responsabilités

• Lead and motivate the warehouse team to improve efficiency and safety.
• Perform warehouse functions: picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and assign daily tasks to ensure smooth shift operations.
• Inspire team to improve KPI performance using appropriate leadership styles.
• Provide orientation and tools needed for employees to perform their roles.
• Promote health and safety practices within the warehouse.
• Handle daily paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Submit daily reports and propose action plans to improve operations.

• Additional Pay: $1.50 per hour when working second shift
• Schedule:Wednesday-Saturday 5:30pm-4:30am

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred
• One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required
• Valid forklift operator's license certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective leadership skills
• Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
• Inspire and guide team members towards improved Key Performance Indicator (KPI’s) using the appropriate leadership styles and methods.
• Assist in proving appropriate orientation for employees and give them the necessary information, technology and tools to perform their jobs.
• Assist with promoting health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
• Deal with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
