Job summary

Mansfield Energy Corp. seeks a Supervisor, Supply to oversee all supply activity in the assigned region, coordinate daily buying options, manage inventory positions, and execute day deals for the next 24 hours. This role collaborates with internal staff on spot sales and will undergo training on bids, inventory, and hedging as required.

The position includes a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) and requires the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced petroleum environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two or more years of progressive experience in the petroleum related industries.
• Must be able to multi-task and make financial impactful decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

The Supervisor, Supply is responsible for supervising all supply activity in an assigned region, including coordinating daily execution of buying options, managing inventory positions once at the terminal, executing day deals for the following 24 hours, and working with internal staff on spot sales.There will be necessary training regarding bids, inventory, and hedging as required with responsibilities assumed as successful training is completed.

Responsibilities

Coaching and Mentoring

• Develop clear goals for staff each year that support company goals and objectives
• Develop a coaching strategy for staff to achieve or exceed goals and objectives
  • Regularly review performance with staff
  • Help staff focus on what is within their control to achieve success

  • Quickly address performance issues in a constructive manner
  • Create positive accountability and follow-up to achieve goals

Departmental Leadership

• Develop clear vision, goals, and objectives for the department that support company goals and objectives and keep team members focused on high performance
• Implement a strategy for departments to examine and improve key processes used every day
• Develop clear departmental strategy to achieve measurable and financial goals
• Coordinate team member scheduling and staffing to ensure excellent customer service and response is achieved
• Provide a regular feedback strategy for the department to evaluate results and make improvements

Overall purchasing

• Maintain supply contracts in good standing
• Help manage supplier relationships
• Execute inventory under company internal guidelines and standards
• Completely all supply related activity for assigned region
• Continuously evaluate all levels and methods of our purchasing
• Improve areas where needed and benchmark purchasing to unbranded net low

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Knowledge & Experience

• Two or more years of progressive experience in the petroleum related industries

Work Environment

• Hybrid Work Schedule available once training is completed (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
