Job description

Supervisor - Structural Steel Field Construction Fabrication / Welding

Field Fabrication and installation of steel for industrial construction. Supervisory experience. Some metal building work.

Working Structural Foreman

We are looking for a Working Structural Foreman with at least 5 years supervisory experience who has overseen a crew of 5-10. Must be able to read blueprints.

Duties will include:

• Leading a structural crew at industrial construction jobsites.
• Supervise welding of carbon steel materials.
• Knowledge of welding stainless steel and aluminum is a plus.
• Supervise operation of all or some of the following types of equipment: Cherry picker, carry deck, fork-lift, man lift, etc.
• Solid skills in the use of hand power tools and cutting torch.
• Ability to fit structural steel and thread and fit steel pipe.
• Ability to rig structural steel and equipment.
• Responsible for field level implementation of health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines as instructed.

Additional Qualifications:

Must have a proven track record of completing work on-time & on budget. Must demonstrate leadership skills to effectively train and mentor others. Excellent verbal and written skills are required.

Ability to work in a quickly changing team environment is required.

Compensation:

Pay rate: $34.00/hr to $37.00/hr
