Position Overview

A Steward Supervisor is responsible for supervising utility stewards, dishwashers, and temporary personnel to transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware, ensuring the hotel's continued delivery of outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

As a Steward Supervisor, your responsibilities include:

• Supervising, supporting, and monitoring utility stewards, dishwashers, and temporary staff in transporting and cleaning utensils and service ware for restaurant service.
• Overseeing cleaning of work areas and physical surroundings.
• Maintaining proper inventory levels for food and beverage departments.
• Ensuring timely delivery of food and equipment for all functions.
• Scheduling, assigning daily tasks, and training team members.
• Monitoring and evaluating team member performance.
