Job summary

Lumicera is seeking a Supervisor, Specialty Pharmacy Support Services in Sacramento, CA. Under the Associate Manager, you will lead a team of Reimbursement or Intake Specialists, directing daily workflows and ensuring service standards and turn-around times are met.

You will participate in staff hiring, training, and evaluation, develop policies with the Pharmacy Services leadership, and implement process improvements to enhance customer service and efficiency across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Tech (CPhT) required when overseeing Intake Specialists.
• 2-5 years’ experience in a pharmacy setting preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel.
• Strong knowledge of current pharmacy regulations.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and monitor staff workflow; develop skills, evaluate performance and provide feedback.
• Develop, track, and monitor staff compliance to quality, service, and production standards.
• Monitor task turnaround time to meet internal standards and client performance guarantees.
• Assist in monitoring costs to ensure compliance with cost goals.
• Address staff concerns and day-to-day operational, system, customer service, quality, and professional issues.
• Work in production as needed.
• Implement programs and process improvements to enhance internal and external customer service; analyze operations and efficiencies.
• Serve as escalation point for issues requiring higher expertise or discretion and represent pharmacy operations in cross-functional meetings.
• Participate in continued quality improvement and quality meetings as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Overview

Due to growth, we are adding a Supervisor, Specialty Pharmacy Support Services to our team.

Under general direction of the Associate Manager, Pharmacy Services, the Supervisor, Specialty Pharmacy Support Services is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a team of either Reimbursement or Intake Specialists. This position monitors productivity and performance standards and plans and directs workflow and project assignments. Oversees production volume to ensure service standards are met. The Supervisor, Specialty Pharmacy Support Services will participate in hiring, training, and evaluation of staff, as well as be responsible for team’s adherence to corporate attendance and employment policies. This individual will work with the Associate Mgr, Pharmacy Service to develop policies, procedures, and the business work plan for the team and recognize and recommend operational improvements. Lastly, the Supervisor will train staff and intervene to help maintain a high level of customer service and meet turn-around time standards.

• Participate in continued quality improvement and quality meetings as necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
