Job summary

Lumicera is seeking a Supervisor for Specialty Pharmacy Support Services in Raleigh, NC. You will lead a team of Reimbursement or Intake Specialists, manage daily workflow, monitor performance, and ensure service quality while partnering with the Associate Manager to set policies and goals.

You will participate in hiring, training, and evaluating staff, drive operational improvements, and maintain high customer service levels to meet turnaround times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. CPhT certificate required when overseeing Intake Specialists.
• 2-5 years’ experience, previous experience in a pharmacy setting preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
• Strong knowledge of current pharmacy regulations
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
• The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees

Responsibilities

• Schedule and monitor staff and day to day workflow. Develop employee’s skills, evaluate performance, and provide feedback.
• Develop, track, and monitor employee’s compliance to quality, service, and production standards
• Monitor task turnaround time so that internal standards and client performance guarantees are met
• Assist Associate Manager, Pharmacy Services in monitoring costs to ensure compliance with cost goals
• Address staff concerns and day to day operational, system, customer service, quality, and professional issues
• Work in production as needed
• Implement programs and process improvements to enhance internal and external customer service; analyze operations and efficiency of the pharmacy
• Serve as escalation point for issues requiring higher expertise or discretion to resolve; represent pharmacy operations in cross-functional meetings
• Participate in quality improvement meetings as necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Overview

Due to growth, we are adding a Supervisor, Specialty Pharmacy Support Services to our team.

Under general direction of the Associate Manager, Pharmacy Services, the Supervisor, Specialty Pharmacy Support Services is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a team of either Reimbursement or Intake Specialists. This position monitors productivity and performance standards and plans and directs workflow and project assignments. Oversees production volume to ensure service standards are met. The Supervisor, Specialty Pharmacy Support Services will participate in hiring, training, and evaluation of staff, as well as be responsible for team’s adherence to corporate attendance and employment policies. This individual will work with the Associate Mgr, Pharmacy Service to develop policies, procedures, and the business work plan for the team and recognize and recommend operational improvements. Lastly, the Supervisor will train staff and intervene to help maintain a high level of customer service and meet turn‑around time standards.

• Participate in continued quality improvement and quality meetings as necessary
