Job summary

Baptist Health South Florida is seeking a security position to support the administration in delivering a safe, secure environment for patients, staff and visitors. The role covers monitoring access, patrolling facilities, and responding to incidents across multiple entities in the Miami area.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, and a preference for prior security experience. BLS certification must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.

Description

The purpose of this position is to support the Administration of Baptist Health South Florida with the provision of a safe and secure environment for the care of patients and the peaceful and orderly operation of business throughout all entities serviced. Estimated pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.49 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Completion, GED, or equivalent training or experience.

Licenses & Certifications

• Florida Drivers License (Class E Non-Commercial).
• Basic Life Support.

Additional Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Completion, GED, or equivalent training or experience required.
• Experience in the security field preferred.
• Hospital setting a plus.
• Law enforcement or military experience desired.
• Required to complete BHSF security training program before the completion of their probationary period and supplemental training classes as they are offered.
• BLS certification must be obtained within first 90 days of employment.
