Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Supervisor - Security & Emergency Management to join our team.
The Supervisor - Security & Emergency Management is responsible for overseeing daily security operations while providing market-level leadership for emergency preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery efforts. This role ensures a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff while advancing a comprehensive and compliant Emergency Management Program. The Supervisor leads staff, coordinates with internal and external partners, and supports organizational readiness across complex clinical and operational settings.
Associate's degree in Criminal Justice, Security, Safety, Emergency Management, Public Safety, Fire Science, or a related field is required. A high school diploma or equivalent plus three years of experience in security, public safety, or law enforcement may be considered in lieu of an associate's degree.
Three years of experience in healthcare security, law enforcement, or safety is required. One year of demonstrated leadership experience is required. Five years of experience in healthcare security and/or safety is preferred.
Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification is required within one year of hire.
