Will participate with management in the development and initiation of practice specific policies, protocols, and critical pathways. Will assist with budget development and monitor fiscal compliance. Will supervise clinical staff and maintain mandatory regulatory institutional policy and procedures under the direction and in collaboration with the Practice Manager and Medical Director. May be required to float to other UFHP practices, as needed, for staffing.

Prior supervisory experience or formal supervisory training preferred. Proven ability to display initiative, multitask, problem solve, and be a team player is essential. Certification in area of specialty preferred. Level 2 - Required to have graduated from an accredited school of professional nursing and hold licensure as Registered Nurse. Four years of ambulatory care or hospital RN experience; may include LPN or MA experience. Must have work experience that demonstrates abilities of leading and directing the work of others. Prior supervisory experience or formal supervisory training preferred. Proven ability to display initiative, multitask, problem solve, and be a team player is essential. Certification in area of specialty preferred. Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose NOTE: A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current licensure by the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse. Basic Life Support (CPR) certification or must be obtained within the first month of employment.
